Dear Anthropologists,
The Medical Anthropology department at UCL, in conjunction with the
British Museum, is about to commence its annual Making Things Better
series and you are invited to attend the first lecture to be given at the
British Museum on Thursday, January 13th, 2011, entitled "Targeting the
Empowered Individual: HIV/AIDS, Transnational Policy-Making, and Local
Moral Worlds in Tanzania."
The lecture will be given by the esteemed medical anthropologist Hansjoerg
Dilger who has over ten years experience of research into HIV/AIDS,
sexuality, faith, and NGOs in rural and urban Tanzania.
