PHASTAR is ready to interview senior biostatisticians (4-7 yrs in clinical
trials), in our second expansion drive this year. Our specialist
biostatistical and programming consultancy works for major pharmaceutical
companies and biotechs in the UK, Europe and the States on Clinical Trials
and Observational (Epidemiology, Health Outcomes/Economics) studies that
challenge and stimulate our MSc/PhD qualified staff. OUR BUSINESS
DEVELOPMENT WORK HAS HAD A HUGE RESULT WITH A VARIETY OF BIOSTATISTICAL
PROJECTS IN MAJOR PHARMAS AND RESPECTABLE BIOTECHS.
Based in West London, we work, remotely and in-house for our clients, in an
atmosphere with both an academic and commercial feel. The hoped for skill
set will include:
ü Depth & breadth of statistical experience in clinical trials – approx 3
to 7 years
ü Experience of handling clinical trial reporting in SAS
ü Strong understanding of statistical theory as applied to clinical trials
ü Experience of writing analysis plans that meet regulatory agency
standards
ü If senior, able to manage statisticians & programmers in medical stats
projects
ü Very good communication skills – surprise, surprise
ü Have ability to influence in multi-disciplinary projects
PHASTAR has both URGENT requirement for well experienced biostatisticians as
well as medium and longer term throughout this year. Criteria for immediate

1 Ability to commute daily to our Central and West London
offices
2 Availability – a real and exciting set of prospects now –
Big interest in statisticians who can start Jan/Feb/March
