Hi
I forwarded the following to some colleagues yesterday. I have in mind
to write a US-UK comparative article on the development of behavioural
economic ideas in (specifically health) policy. I am fairly clued up on
the UK side of things (Thaler is now serving as an advisor to the UK
govt). I wonder if anyone might be able to point me to some useful US
literature. I could find it myself of course. I'm just being lazy. But
with Sunstein now in the US Govt, I was wondering if there had been
reports fleshing out ideas in this area, in a manner similar to the UK
one below. 'Nudge' ideas have taken on a life of their own. Everyone now
seems to be an expert in behavioural economics. I wonder why I bothered
getting a PhD in the area...

The attached recent report, from the Government's Behavioural Insights
team, may be of interest. Some potentially interesting pilot studies are
highlighted, some more interesting than others.
Best,
Adam
