As you may know, The University of Texas at Austin Department of Civil, Architectural and
Environmental Engineering invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in
transportation engineering with a focus on transportation network modeling. The successful
candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, develop a sponsored
research program, supervise graduate students, collaborate with other faculty, and be involved in
service to the university and the profession. The department seeks a person with expertise related
to transportation network design and optimization, network equilibrium modeling, large-scale
complex stochastic network process simulation, and dynamic traffic assignment with demand
uncertainty.
