The European Geosciences Union (EGU) will hold its Seventh General
Assembly from 03-08 April 2011 in Vienna, Austria. We invite you to
participate in the session convened by the Natural Hazards Programme
Group. The General Assembly will bring together geoscientists from all
over the world into one meeting covering all disciplines of the Earth,
Planetary and Space Sciences. At the 2010 General Assembly 10,463
scientists from 94 countries participated.
At the 2011 General Assembly, within the Natural Hazards Programme
Groups, there are 82 sessions in 10 groupings covering
Hydro-Meteorological Hazards, Volcanic Hazards, Landslide Hazards,
Earthquake Hazards, Sea and Ocean Hazards, Snow Avalances and Glacial
Hazards, Wildfire Hazards, Environmental and other Hazards (Heavy
Metals, Karst, Radon, Space Weather), Natural Hazards and Society (Risk,
Vulnerability, Reinsurance, Education, Communications, etc.) and
Multihazards.
The deadline for abstracts (both oral and poster presentations)is 10
January 2011. The web site for submission of abstracts is:
