A third possible value of "Huh?" is "Why will programmers do a better job
than the compiler?"
The nasty area for cache optimization is irregular grids,
especially when the need for grid refinement strikes.
For regular arrays, code as simply as you can so the compiler
can tell what's happening, then stand back and let the compiler
do its job. You may want to push a button that says "be sure
to do the cache stuff" but most likely, there's no need.
