We have Bruker EVA with ICDD database and seems to be a great software. Highly user friendly and lot of capabilities. In terms of seating licensing, besides the S/M software (JADE, EVA etc), you would also be restricted by ICDD licenses (multiple users Vs single user).

I am curious about your experiences with different search/match software. We currently use Jade, which is of course somewhat of an industry standard, but I am interested to see if there is another package that may meet our needs but at a lower cost or with less restrictive seat licensing options. Also, does anyone routinely use generic databases other than ICSD and ICDD that are lower cost? Our key requirements would be that the replacement software was (1) relatively easy to use for technician-level analysts, and (2) lower cost than Jade.
Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences!
