Hi Alistair
Really good to catch up with today and discuss the use of Xerte in literacy and numeracy support. Here are some draft LOs that we are using to illustrate the use of different templates in developing literacy and numeracy skills. I'm very aware that the three LOs are a real mix of topics and activities that are still very much 'work in progress' but I've copied in our Xerteforteachers colleagues as you felt the resources may be of wider interest. I look forward to catching up with you again next Friday at 9.30 am as planned.
Thanks again for your interest and encouragement!
regards
Bob

Just forwarding this from the other Xerte list because it shows a nice
way of using Xerte to get learners to create resources.
I sent Adam a range of samples gleaned from various places including:
Ron Mitchell's JISC online conference example
http://xerte5.techdis.palepurple.co.uk/play_5519
My deaf focused example http://xerte5.techdis.palepurple.co.uk/play_5270
- or the Xerte Friday images example -

Bob Read and I have had a really interesting discussion on ways of using
Xerte with numberacy and literacy teaching so look forward to some more
samples in the future and let us know of any good things you're doing in
your own contexts.

Subject: [Xerte] Xerte EXamples
Hi everyone
Here at Marjon we're currently introducing Xerte toolkits to students
who are creating learning objects as part of their assessment for an
Outdoor Adventure module.
I've delivered some training and they are happy with the interface but
they are now asking for more examples of complete learning objects. It's
hard to find good examples via google etc.
Can anyone point me to a good bank of Xerte examples? Ideally those
which are quite creative in form/content?
I've tried using the xpert repository but there doesn't seem to be a way
to filter out Xerte objects? Every link I click on seems to take me to
other OER content (e.g. OXford podcasts etc)
Any help, advice, links would be extremely useful.
Cheers, Adam
