Michael - please, please, don't derail my thread... in the interests of festive cheer. I'm trying to help a PhD student and, if you derail my thread by starting a debate about paid internships, I won't be able to.
Just to clarify... I'm looking for schemes that can run alongside a PhD like the BSA Media Fellowships. But I don't want to be too specific because I appreciate schemes work quite differently.
