There is more in the works, but as you suggested, it is surpassingly difficult to write. Memoir opens up dark caves where sometimes the writer would rather not go. All issues apply, especially selectivity and focus on what matters. I marvel at the candor and humor of Mary Karr, who is unflinching but savagely funny. Not confessional but self-revelatory.
