Dont worry it says - due to the Equality Act - "pre-employment showed
little evidence of being useful so OH professionals can use their time
more effectively now" and promoting NHS midlife check in the work place
will be the mainstay https://www.midlifecheck.co.uk/

Subject: Re: [OCC-HEALTH] Public Health strategy document
I have to say that having had a very quick look through the document I
was
somewhat disappointed at how little attention seemed to be paid to
workplace
induced ill health. Given that this represents an enormous cost to the
country, that much of it is avoidable and that there is - in theory at
least
- a system already in place (Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and
subsequent regulations) to manage this my reaction is that there has
been a
lost opportunity to develop a more effective an proactive approach to
keeping the workforce healthy.
