I am delighted to inform MCG subscribers that the call for 'The Museum 2011' international conference is now open. The event is entitled: 'Building Identity: the making of national museums and identity politics'.

If you look at the 'call', there is, I think, lots of potential within conference's main themes (particularly on the construction of place and identity; museum marketing; and audience research) for work related to digital media. So I encourage MCG subscribers to take a look.
The conference (which will be held in Taipei 16th-18th November 2011) is a partnership between the School of Museum Studies at the University of Leicester, the National Taipei University of Education, the Victoria and Albert Museum, London and the National Museum of History, Taipei.
Thanks everyone,
Ross
