Please watch this short (10mins) TED film. The speaker, Diana Laufenberg, is a primary school teacher in the USA. She speaks with enthusiasm and energy about her adventures in fostering a 'learning landscape' in which children create their own learning and knowledge in a collaborative way. Their learning is then made public. Sound familiar?
Unfortunately the comments posted after the video get bogged down in argument about standardised testing. Something else that sounds familiar!

Jack, Marie: Perhaps we could watch this one evening at the University?
