Hello all,
Some items which I hope will be interest...
International news - 'eduroam covers entire 'GÉANT region' and looks beyond the borders'. With the recent inclusion of Montenegro, all of the 37 GÉANT project partner countries are now in the European eduroam confederation, which marks the achievement of a major goal. Not content with this, eduroam is now looking beyond the borders of GÉANT to offer support for the rollout and uptake of the education roaming service in a group of neighbouring Eastern European countries.

National news - November saw yet another all time high for usage of eduroam in the UK both in terms of RADIUS traffic and individual devices authenticating over the national infrastructure.
The service is also growing in terms of the number of participating organisations. There are now 132 members in the UK, which includes Further Education, Research and Higher Education organisations, and it is notable that a majority of HE organisations are now participating; NOT having eduroam is becoming the exception rather than the rule.
Finally there is new documentation available, of interest to those who are trying to put the business case for moving from a multiple SSID environment to a single 'eduroam' SSID for the primary network service. The justification for such an initiative is presented together with a template project initiation document, which will get your project off to a good start.
