Hi Heather,
I assume you've tried the Archives Hub? (archiveshub.ac.uk). I put in subject: women, keyword: travel, dates: between 1700-1850 and got 15 hits. I don't know whether they might be relevant, but probably worth a look. The Hub searches across archives held at 200 UK repositories.
