Samples of Anonymised Records: Open consultation on proposals for microdata from the 2011 Census
The Samples of Anonymised Records team at the University of Manchester are seeking comments on draft proposals for microdata samples from the 2011 Census during December.
A minisite at http://www.ccsr.ac.uk/sars/2011/consultations/ contains information about the proposals, including proposed variable specifications and feedback forms. We welcome your comments.
We would like to encourage respondents to reply during December, to allow adjustment of the plans in the light of comments made.
The updated plans will be presented at the rescheduled SARs User Meeting on 28th January 2011 at the Royal Statistical Society in London.
More information about this free event, including a programme and booking form, is available at http://www.ccsr.ac.uk/sars/events/2011-01-28/. Booking is now open and all are welcome at this important meeting. Attendees include Peter Elias, Angela Dale, David Owen and representatives from the Census Offices, Census Programme and the SARs team.
