The Research Student Conference is a relaxed, fun place to meet fellow
students and hear a variety of talks that will be more understandable
than the average department seminar, giving a taste of the breadth of
current statistical research.
For many students, RSC is a first opportunity to present their research
before an international audience with no scary professors listening.
There is no entry requirement and all attendees are encouraged to submit
a talk or poster, although this is not mandatory. All submitted
abstracts will be accepted.
The conference will take place in the Centre for Mathematical Sciences
of the University of Cambridgeand accommodation will be in Murray
Edwards and Fitzwilliam Colleges.
Entertainment will include the conference dinner in the historical
college hall of Clare College, as well as the traditional first night
pub quiz, pub crawl and a tour of historic Cambridge.
Please check the website as updates will be made periodically.
