Dear Colleagues,
As some of you are aware, the 'After the Wall' website is building a
stock of useful materials and links, specifically for those teaching the
GDR and memory of the GDR (see: http://afterthewall.bangor.ac.uk/). One
of the central aims is to make materials available through the medium of
English, for colleagues outside of German Departments (and even those
within them, who often have to accommodate beginners and/or non-German
speakers into cultural units).
We have a small budget for translation, and would welcome any
suggestions of documents which you use/would like to use in teaching
which are unavailable in English. Also, if you are aware of any useful
collections of English translations, please let us know - or, indeed, if
you have translated any yourself, and would be willing to make them
available to colleagues.
Best wishes,
Anna and Debbie
