When Jane Wolfe arrived at the Abbey part of her "work" was typing
Crowley's manuscripts. I seem to recall reading of other students who
got this honor as well.

Kenneth Grant most likely typed for him in the mid 40s as we know kg can type and I suspect the various ac diaries would have mention of giving over handwritten ms to paid typists in whatever place ac was living at the time. I've seen some late 1930s material that was probably typed by such means. We need to step out of a 2010 mindset and recall that in ACs lifetime typing was a minority skill, usually a gendered one, and the machinery was far less widespread than nowadays _ it is likely that book material accumulated in stacks of longhand and was later bulk typed when convenient, for eventual publication, with letters to disciples being more immediate and thus in many cases being handwritten

I have personally seen a bunch of handwritten manuscripts and drafts for various of his works (as images, reproductions and originals) but the sheer amount of his overall material leads me to believe he must have used a typewriter, particularly in regards to the Equinox publications.
