Hi
We've used Wufoo for community heritage groups and small museums to submit
content. We then use the Wufoo API to import the submitted content into a
CMS (in one case the CMS was Drupal, in another our own CommunitySites CMS).
The best example was www.mocoproject.org.uk, a JISC project for the Mass
Observation Archive, which involved collecting responses from community
groups to a number of diary and photography tasks. The Mass Observation team
needed to be able to create new forms on Wufoo at will, so the API import
routine had to be flexible enough to cater for that.
Best wishes

Hi all
I am looking for a simple way for content contributors (mainly people in
smallish museums) to submit some info through a set of short text
fields, and also to upload some assets (images, videos, worksheets,
etc).
Google forms seemed like a possibility, and the forums say they have
been looking into it (for some time...) but they don't seem to offer it
yet.
SurveyMonkey specifically exclude the possibility of appending files to
a survey.
I could use WordPress, but that would mean having to create an account
for each person who will use it, which is a bit clunky - though
possible.
Posterous, Tumblr could work, but posting via email is the only way for
people without an account to post, which wouldn't be good for large
attachments.
DropBox etc?
I guess the idea system is a kind of cross between an online form and a
yousendit.com type of service.
In case this all seems a bit Heath Robinson, this is a tryout for a
system that will probably be built into a CMS for scaling up.
Does anyone have any other ideas?
Martin
