Thanks for this article reference; I've also found this discussion very
interesting as I'm writing about this at the moment. There's a forthcoming
special issue of Hypatia in this area that people may be interested in; it's
Ethics of Embodiment, Volume 26, Number 3, Summer 2011, Guest Editors: Debra
Bergoffen and Gail Weiss.
And there are some interesting discussions of vulnerable subjectivity going
on at Emory, connected to the Feminism and Legal Theory Project which Martha
Fineman directs there. The new web site for Emory's Vulnerability and the
