Apologies for cross-postings!
Warning: except in exceptional cases, these awards are only really relevant
to EU citizens, as far as I can tell.
Eligible possible applicants, or colleagues who have eligible students, may
be interested in some new opportunities for Master's or doctoral funding.
The eligibility guidelines are tight, though: for the Economic and Social
Research Council awards, applicants must (I think) be UK citizens, if I
have read the criteria correctly; for the Arts and Humanities Research
Council awards, applicants can be UK or EU citizens, but must have been
resident in the UK for a certain time.
