Dear Daniel,
the VBM8 option for processing longitudinal data is a batch of 8 several steps (see attached figure). Thus, you have to define only scans of one subject for the initial registration (select "New session") and nothing else. Please leave the remaining 7 steps untouched. The weak is that only one subject can be processed for each batch. I will try to provide a simpler interface in the future.
