Beats our local co-op in Raynes Park! But we did get nice carrots in the
wartime!(WW2 that is):-)

Subject: Wednesday Farmers' Market 85016
Honeycomb in its windowed transportation trumps all
rutabagas,
turnips,
romaine lettuce,
radishes in white and rouge approaching blue,
tomatoes,
blueberries,
jars of mustard maize and wine,
ginger juice,
wheat grass,
embroidered aprons,
and the hatted chefs
who don't take cash
or cards
or check,
just hold an object high
and talk about how wonderful
the individual ingredients can be
alone, together,
in and out of context.
The sidewalks remain glutted
with attention turned toward
how the kitchen will be different
tonight, while here
under the umbrellas
and their influence,
we meander toward
mesquite-grilled evidence
of a lifetime
still afforded
to the willing
and the fortunate.
