Hope someone out there can help me with a query, maybe Chris Packham?
I have already tried researching this on the net as well as in various textbooks.
Have any of you come across an effect on the finger nails resulting from chronic eczema?
Are there any names associated with this condition?
Are there any complications that could be anticipated?
Is there any treatment that could be considered?

Heather,
My answer to this has to be a qualified "yes" to all your questions.
However, there are many different types of nail disease and over 2,000
clinically recognisable skin diseases, so without additional information it
is impossible to provide more information.
My recommendation is that this person is referred to a dermatologist as the
person best qualified to give you a specific answer based on his or her
clinical examination and diagnosis.
Best regards

You may consider approaching ATOS, they do these all the time and I am told
it's under a very slick procedure!
Kind regards

Hi Joanne
I have used them for functional capacity assessments and found them to be a
professional, helpful team. They may not be the cheapest, but I found them
to give value for their costs.

Hi List,
I would also suggest Avon Skin so Soft (original). I
believe that is widely used by forestry workers etc in Scotland (don't have
anything other than anecdotal evidence though, but never really looked for any).
My own experience is that I have never been bitten whilst wearing it, and I also
have sensitive skin.

Cheryl
