Dear all,
I wondered if anyone had come across any studies in anthropology or media that specifically treated mediated information and information gleaned from life experience / 'experiential knowledge' and the different roles that these played in the construction of opinions, views and outlooks among informants?
I'd be really grateful for any recommendations or tips whilst finalising a PhD thesis which looks at this issue among multi-ethnic media audiences in England with reference to the construction of notions of identity, community and belonging.
Thanks very much.
All the best,
