Subject: [LIS-UKEIG] test collections for teaching
Hello List
I'm looking for ideas for an open source / creative commons type sample collection that I can use for teaching a digital libraries module here at UWE.
Ideally, I need a collection that includes documents, audio, images and video, has some basic metadata available and which can be downloaded easily. it does not need to be enormous - hundreds rather than thousands of objects perhaps.
Any suggestions from the list would be gratefully received. The work might benefit an organisation looking for ideas on organisation / metadata strategies/ appropriate publishing platform for their collection.
Thanks
Paul
