The National Archives (formerly: Public Record Office), Kew, Surrey, England announces today (Thursday, 11 November 2010) a temporary closing of its Map and Large Document Reading Room (that's the upstairs one) from 17.00 on Saturday, 27 November to 09.00 on Tuesday, 14 December 2010 - which is a timely reminder, too, that TNA policy has been to be closed on Mondays for some months now.
