COURSE OBJECTIVES:
Participants will gain skills in:
1. Teambuilding, and avoiding communication problems in teams.
2. Improving communication channels within libraries (between staff, up and down the management hierarchy and across / between departments).
3. Defusing difficult situations / dealing with sensitive issues.

* The bad teamleader: ideastorm
* Post-it group work: the good teamleader
* Presentation: the Woodhouse model
* Allocation exercise
Coffee break 11.15 - 11.30
Morning 2: 11.35 - 1.00
* Case studies 1: diagnosis of team issues
* Case studies 2: general strategies and approach
* Discussion: communication style with team
Lunch break 1.00 - 1.30
Afternoon: 1.30 - 3.30
