Dear all,
I apologise for not being able to reply to everyone individually - but I am very pressed for time.
Thus far we have 20 people who have expressed interest in the idea of the International Seminar on 'Human Rights and the Environment - In Search of a New Relationship'. I would like to thank everyone for their interest and enthusiasm, which is wonderful, and will certainly be in touch again soon with further details about what we need in order to put in a strong bid for the seminar. It won't be much at this stage, but we may well need abstracts. Watch this space, as they say. (Please bear in mind that abstracts need to focus upon the intersection of human rights and the environment and should be aimed towards research, reflections or projects taking their relationship beyond its current stage/state where possible.)
If you know of people beyond the UK who would be good contributors to such an event - please encourage them to express their interest in being part of this. The list is not yet quite international enough.
Warm regards,
Anna
