Dear FSL users,
if you are using the Debian/Ubuntu packages of FSL you might have
noticed that the FSL data packages have 'vanished'. This happened
because we recently moved them into a new archive suite for data
packages.
This move was necessary, because the previous duplication of packages
required extra resources and introduced delays for people running
installations of fresh Ubuntu releases. Moreover, these packages are
completely identical across all distribution release. Having them in a
dedicate 'data' suite makes life easier.
How can you get them back?
The easiest way is to visit:
http://neuro.debian.net/#how-to-use-this-repository
and download a new APT configuration for your installation. That has the
additional advantage of selecting a new mirror. NeuroDebian has now five
mirrors and one might be closer/faster than your previous choice.
Alternatively you can add this line to your sources.list file:
deb http://neuro.debian.net/debian data main contrib non-free
(or similar for another mirror).
I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused by this change, but we believe
that it allows us to provide a more reliable service.
Michael
