Dear all,
I am a new user of FSL-TBSS: thank you so much to the authors for making
available such a great tool!
I have a simple question/curiosity for which I could not find any answers either
in the list or in the technical papers.
I have run through all the required steps for TBSS analysis and got to the point
were, among other images, the "all_FA_skeletonised" image is generated.
I noticed that in FslView, it is possible to display this image as "Lines" or
"RGB" (much as for any single subject "dti_V1" images): however, the orientation
of the lines displayed does not seem to make much sense: all the lines are in
the orientation south-west / north-east, independently of the actual fiber
orientations. Also, only 1 Lines volume can be displayed, independently on the
number of subjects/volumes in "all_FA_skeletonised".
Could anybody explain where the Lines information in "all_FA_skeletonised" comes
from, what it represents and whether the "south-west / north-east" orientation
is a sign of any potential mistake I did in the preprocessing/analysis?
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you and best wishes,
Marco
