Dear Fulvio,
Mosflm attempts to read the phi start and end
angles from the image header, but on some synchrotron beamlines this
information is not written correctly to the header, which would
explain the error message. Alternatively, if you have really collected
a "still" image (oscillation angle of zero) you will also get this
message.
You there need to set the oscillation angles with the AUTOINDEX
keyword, eg
AUTOINDEX IMAGE 1 PHI 0 1
for a one degree oscillation image starting at phi=0. If you really
have collected a still image, set the end phi value to be 0.001
greater than the start phi value as a workaround.
This is explained in the online help for ipmosflm (just start the
program and type "help" at the prompt) as part of the description of
the AUTOINDEX keyword.
Best wishes,
Andrew Leslie
