You may like to know how the Dynamics iPortal system works - it's
essentially the Bluetooth integrated control unit (that you need a DX
REM 550 unit for) that acts as a Bluetooth HID device for the PC - and
since the iPhone/Pods/and soon iPads running iOS 4.x all have a)
Bluetooth keyboard support and b) total accessibility via a keyboard its
simply acting as a keyboard. i.e. You can use a keyboard to access an
iphone. Thats a biggy. For more info:

The Click to Go single switch chair controller for DX chairs has a D9
output. The connections are the same as published by the TRACE centre
and used for multi way switches such as the TASH joystick.

Tekla is part of the AEGIS project and Jan Richards at the Inclusive
Design Research Centre (IDRC) in Toronto asked we if any UK wheelchairs
support the 9 Pin D switch output so that wheelchair joystick switches
can be used to input into other switch controlled systems. He said this
was fairly standard in North America.
It's a long time since I have been involved with integrated systems so
what is possible on which chairs in the UK now?
