My key moments of being "educationally influenced"!
Began in the 1970's with Paulo Freire, his "pedagogy of the oppressed", and his phrase "reflect on actions, and act on reflections" I never forgot and constantly practiced. There is a gap of well over 30 years to Peter Taylor, and I learned about "critical autoethnography, transformative culture studies, and multi-paradigmatic research design space". The influences that followed are Jack Whitehead's "living educational theory, embodied knowledge", Jean MCniff's "jazzy glasses, setting the caged bird free"and Mary Roche's ideas of "critical thinking, connectedness to others through our dialectical and dialogical engagement".
