JOB: University College London - Research Associate Collections Demography Project

The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £31,778 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
Funding has been identified for 29 months, to carry out research on the AHRC/EPSRC Science and Heritage Programme project Collections Demography, working with research teams and heritage stakeholders, writing reports and publishing and disseminating research results. The successful candidate is to develop population statistics concepts to large heritage collections.
The successful candidate is required to have a PhD in a STEM subject (science, technology, engineering, mathematics, including statistics), sociology or economics, demonstrable excellent knowledge of statistical methods and modelling and of appropriate software tools, demonstrable knowledge of multivariate data analysis and to be able to manipulate and interpret large sets of qualitative and quantitative data. A research interest in cultural heritage is desirable as well as a publication track record. Excellent research skills, written English, communication and presentation skills are essential.
