Dear members
I am writing for some advice on references on the application of ethnography to research on learning difficulty (intellectual disability, mental retardation). This request is in relation to my PhD research, which aims to explore how ethnicity impacts on the mental capacity assessment of people classified as having learning difficulty within the framework of England's Mental Capacity Act 2005.
My initial search has found a significant body of literature but very few discussing the methodology in much detail. I will be very grateful for advice on literature that discuss in greater detail, the methodology, fieldwork design, and ethics of ethnography in learning difficulty research.
Kind regards
