Hi Steve - I've never had a problem with these links and I check most of
the jobs that come up on lisjobnet either via the website or by clicking
on a link in an rss feed. If you don't think it's your university
network security then I'd try a different browser and/or change your
browser security settings.
Cheers
Dominic

Subject: Links from jobs from Lisjobnet.com
Dear Colleagues
Can I ask does anyone else have problems getting the links to further
Job
information to work either in the emails from Lisjobnet.com or more
important on their website.
I have not been able to access these at home or at the University for
over a
year now.
As I have not been seriously job hunting I have not been that bothered
although it has been quite annoying when an interesting job appears.
I have therefore emailed them about the problem this month and guess
what it
is either my or the universities fault.
As I have differnt systems at home and at work as well as ISPs I find
this a
bit difficult to swallow. I have also two different security systems
Kaspari
and Synaptics at different times. both yeild the same results.
They have told me only one other person has had this problem and that
was
due to security settings at the University concerned.
Can others tell me have they experienced this problem and have they
found a
fix at all. One way or another we might get a fix if it is a widespread
problem.
Cheers
Steve
