Hi Peter,
I just tried it with '-c ' for all our queues.
stro:~> for q in $(qstat -q | awk '/lhcb/, /atlas/ {print $1}')
do
echo queue $q
showbf -c $q
for> done
queue lhcb
no procs available
queue medium
no procs available
queue infra
no procs available
queue short
no procs available
queue dzero
no procs available
queue alice
no procs available
queue ekster
no procs available
queue atlas
no procs available
I also tried it with a queue we do not have, and got the same answer:
stro:~> showbf -c peter.ottl
no procs available
I can give it many crazy arguments, the only one which appears to generate an error is if I tell it a server host that does not exist:
stro:~> showbf -A --host=hairball.nikhef.nl -q lhcdzero -c markus
ERROR: cannot connect to 'hairball.nikhef.nl' port 40559
The command does not inspire much confidence! If we make the changes you suggest, we will have to emphasize that only experts should use the feature.
