Deal all,
I want to use SnPM to do an analysis that is equivalent to a Repeated ANOVA measures with gender as the between participants factor and stimulus valence (positive and negative) and arousal (high and low) as the within participants factors. I have four conditions which are the results of manipulating valence and arousal, so I have a factorial design 2x2,so as far as I understand statistics I would have to do a repeated measures (within subject) ANOVA with two within subject factors valence and arousal. I was wondering which setup in SnPM could serve as an equivalent. I thought that I could use the '2 Groups: Test diff of response; 2 conditions, 1 scan per condition' in the case that I could change some parts in the code in order to perform this test for 4 conditions, or the 'Between Subject ANOVA, k groups, 1 scan per subject' but this would require some changes too. At this point I am not sure how I could get the main effects in order to illustrate the underlying brain regions modulated by gender, arousal, and valence effects for each component. Is there anyone that has had the same need and used SnPM?? The between and within participants factors may be different of course. It is the type of design that I am interested in..
Any thought will be of great help
Thanks
