he American Handel Society invites submissions of abstracts for papers to be given at the American Handel Festival, March 24-27, 2011, in Seattle, Washington, in conjunction with performances of Acis and Galatea by the Boston Early Music Festival, and Esther by Pacific Musicworks. We invite proposals on any topic connected to Handel‚s life and work, but especially encourage submissions related to the works to be performed.
Abstracts of no more than 500 words may be sent by November 15, 2010 to Wendy Heller, AHS Program Chair: wbheller at princeton.edu.
