Subject: BUILDING A SUCCESSFUL INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH CAREER TRAINING
WORKSHOP, AMSTERDAM, 19-21 JANUARY 2011
Building a Successful International Research Career Training Workshop
Trippenhuis, Amsterdam
19-21 January 2011
The British Council, in collaboration with The Netherlands Royal Academy
for Arts and Sciences (KNAW), is seeking applications from early career
researchers who have recently completed their PhD, to participate in
Building a Successful International Research Career Workshop in
Amsterdam from 19-21 January 2011. The Workshop is designed to assist
researchers with their career planning and applicants should be
committed to international careers in research. This Workshop follows
on from 3 very successful events held in Paris, Lisbon and Bonn.
Conference and hotel expenses will be covered by the British Council and
assistance with travel costs where they cannot be met from your research
team or other budgets.
Even if you have no one suitable in your research group please pass this
information on to colleagues who you believe would be interested in
making an application. Feedback from previous participants has been
extremely positive and we would now like to extend the experience to a
new group of researchers from the UK and key countries across Europe.
The deadline for applications is 5 November 2010.
Please do not hesitate to contact me for any further information.
Regards, Susan
