Hi Lawrence you heartless-never! Actually I liked the idea of cat wandering
back after some days great-I do hope that he has not dropped into the Wandle
the down into the Thames perhaps I had better ask Southend to keep an eye
open for fast swimming moggy!!

Cats are best left to do their own hunting. A friend's cat returned after
4 days and she wondered where he had been. I believe that my answer was
right: he had something important to do that took 4 days. They don't tell
us everything; we don't even have 4 legs
Missing? The sculptor David Nash had a wooden sculpture which he dropped
in a river; and he documented it being moved downstream over years. When
finally it went beyond the estuary, he said - in the documentary he made -
It isn't lost; it's where it is
