I have a case where my client has a 6 year history of gynae problem which impacted on her attendance.
She has tried every intervention available, finally having a hysterectomy this year.
This intervention was successful in alleviating symptoms, but has been a difficult recovery period, with multiple infections.
As this affected her for 6 years, and in the last 2 years has had difficulty maintaining her hours, I am unsure about the Equality Act for this case. Once she has recovered from the surgery, the chronic condition should have fully resolved.
Any thoughts please?
Many thanks,
Tracy
