If using Outlook you may be able to create message rules that will
automatically move all messages from the list into a designated folder,
which you can look at your leisure.
I do not think that blocking an individual would work: you would have to
block the whole list; if you wanted to do that you would do better
unsubscribing.
I too think that reports of e-bay postings should not appear here.

Unfortunately there is no way to filter the content of list messages.
All I can suggest is to set your preferences to download one digest
message per day.
Chris has a point - there are a lot of messages lately which would
have been better dealt with off list. Think before you reply to a
posting - would it be beter to reply to the individual making the
posting rather than to the whole list.
All these e-bay finds might be interesting for some but what do they
add to our knowledge of mining history? Notification might be
justified but not the endless comments which ensue.
