ETHNOGRAPHY WORKSHOP/MASTERCLASS WITH CHARLES BOSK
Organised by the East Midlands Medical Sociology Group
Tuesday 9 November 2010, 16:00-18:00, Room G20, Department of Health Sciences, University of Leicester, 22-28 Princess Road West, Leicester LE1 6TP
The distinguished American medical sociologist and ethnographer Charles Bosk (University of Pennsylvania) will be visiting the University of Leicester in November, and we are delighted to announce that he will be giving a masterclass and discussion session on Tuesday 9 November. This is a great opportunity to engage with one of the most renowned exponents of ethnography in medical sociology, and to discuss with other East Midlands researchers the practice and potential of ethnographic approaches. The masterclass promises a thought-provoking experience for all involved.
There is no charge for attendance, but places are limited, so booking is essential. To book, please provide your details at the following URL: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MZLF8H9
(Members of the East Midlands Medical Sociology Group who have already registered for this event by e-mail need not re-register using the link above.)
