A summary of the 'Advocacy, Evidence, Support' events coordinated by the Preservation Advisory Centre in June and July with the support of National Archives of Scotland, John Rylands (University of Manchester), National Library of Wales, CyMAL, and National Library of Ireland is now available on our website: http://www.bl.uk/blpac/aes.html
The presentations that were common to all events (Making the case for preservation; Using the Preservation Assessment Survey; and Knowing the Need) are also available online.
The group discussion sessions at each event were particularly popular, and a good first step towards one of our aims of building a community of people actively involved in preservation. I'd welcome your thoughts on how we can build on this good work.
Kind regards
Caroline
