2011 John Merriman Joint NASIG/UKSG Conference Award
UK delegate sponsored by Taylor & Francis
NASIG (North American Serials Interest Group) and UKSG are pleased to announce that applications are invited for this award, which allows a member of each group to attend the conference of their sister organisation: either the UKSG Annual Conference to be held in Harrogate, Yorkshire, 4-6 April 2011 or the NASIG Annual Conference to be held in St Louis, Missouri, 2-5 June 2011.
The award is open to those who are in a functional position within a library or information service, with direct responsibilities for an aspect of e-resources management. Examples could include (but are not restricted to) administering or developing systems and services relating to e-journals, e-books, or open access repositories.
The $6,000 award supports two people, one from each association, and covers the cost of travel to the sister conference. In addition to the award the recipients will receive paid conference registration.
