The University of Texas at Austin Department of Psychology and Imaging Research Center (IRC) invite applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Cognitive Neuroscience to begin Fall semester 2011. We seek a researcher with a strong research background whose interests complement the current areas of planned growth for the department. Preference will be given to researchers in the following research areas: developmental cognitive neuroscience (particularly focused on adolescent development), individual differences/personality, and imaging genetics. A very solid methodological background in MRI is also strongly preferred, as is additional experience with EEG, TMS, computational modeling, or other methods. Successful candidates will be expected to develop a strong research program, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, direct graduate research, produce demonstrated evidence of successful research productivity, exhibit a commitment to service, and support and enhance a diverse learning and work environment. Review of applications will begin November 1 and will continue until the position is filled.
