Dear FSL experts,
I had some issues while processing FA images in TBSS and my questions are as follows:
1. I am trying to generate a subject specific atlas for 50 pediatric subjects using the tbss_2_reg command. As a first step, I am aware that the algorithm tests each subject in turn to determine which is the most representative of the population and will take 5 minsx50x50. However, the program crashes without identifying a representative subject. Can you also clarify the steps in the optimum subject identification as well as in the subject specific atlas generation. For instance is an affine registration to the MNI space performed for each subject before using the nonlinear registration to identify the optimum subject?
2. I have also tried to input a subject specific atlas that was created outside of fsl (using nonlinear registration of the FA images to create the atlas). In this case, the algorithm processed the images and tried to register to the subject specific atlas but the resliced images were not correct. Again can you detail the steps when using a subject specific atlas: is the subject specific atlas aligned to MNI space before proceeding to the next step?
Thanks for your time and help.
